TARGET GROUPS AND AREAS OF APPLICATION

Professional air purification systems from ETS Products Group

Currently SARS-CoV-2 or Corona dominates the topic of air purification systems. As a result, the systems have now also become popular in Germany and Europe. Air purification systems are now used everywhere where the quality of the room air plays an important role and pollutants are to be reliably removed from the room air.

Places of operation are for example:
Business premises, exhibition rooms, offices, seminar rooms, trade fairs, restaurants, bars, old people's homes and nursing homes, hospitals, communal accommodation, waiting rooms, sports facilities & fitness studios, wellness areas, hairdressing salons & beauty salons, changing rooms, living rooms, bedrooms etc.

Of course there are many more applications, here are some examples:

Allergies

ETS systems can provide relief for allergies to pollen or dust, for example. In Germany alone, there are over 20 million pollen allergy sufferers and around 8 million people suffer from house dust allergies. However, the number of possible allergenic substances in indoor air is by no means limited to pollen and house dust. Other possible allergens include a wide variety of chemicals, mould spores, pet dander and animal hair. These allergen loads can also be greatly reduced in many cases by our systems.

ASTHMA

Symptoms of asthma indoors can sometimes be significantly reduced by ETS air purifiers. The causes of asthma are very diverse. In addition to a genetic component, allergens and environmental pollutants (such as VOCs) in indoor air often play a role in the development of asthma. In Germany, about 7% of the population suffers from asthma. In the group of children and adolescents, the rate of disease is almost twice as high. The systems can filter asthma-triggering allergens and pollutants from the room air to a large extent.

HEY FEVER

Our systems can retain more than 99% of hay fever-triggering pollen with a multi-stage filter system. Therefore, the devices are also recommended by major health insurance companies for pollen allergy sufferers. Hay fever is triggered by an overreaction of the immune system to pollen. The pollen is identified as a supposed "enemy" of the body and is fought against. This defensive reaction results in the typical symptoms of hay fever: runny and blocked nose, sneezing irritation as well as red, itchy and inflamed eyes.

A large part of these symptoms is due to the histamine released by the body in response to pollen. Air purifiers against hay fever are useful indoors, as the pollen concentration there often reaches similarly high values as in the outdoors. In some cases, the pollen concentration in indoor air can even be higher than outdoors. This can occur if deposited pollen is stirred up in large quantities by vacuum cleaners, dusting or draughts. The use of the systems is particularly useful in the bedroom, as hay fever can make restful sleep very difficult.

ODOURS

In many cases, the systems can greatly reduce unpleasant odours indoors. Unpleasant odours in buildings can indicate that the indoor air is contaminated with chemicals. Mould and tobacco smoke also give off odours that often cannot be sufficiently eliminated by ventilation. Some chemicals and moulds can even cause health problems below the human olfactory threshold. Our systems not only eliminate unpleasant odours, they are also able to bind harmful substances.
