The air purifier market is currently confusing. Due to the lack of regulations, every supplier offering "HEPA filters in a housing with a fan" becomes a specialist - most systems are untested.
A reference to an approved study or CE declaration, which in most cases is a self-declaration, says nothing about the effectiveness of the system in terms of the safe removal of pollutants.
An institute for aerodynamics, for example, cannot replace a laboratory that carries out real tests with viruses and bacteria. It can only prove the air distribution and circulation in rooms.

Test Note: H1N1 and H3N2 viruses were used for the test as SARS-CoV-2 viruses are not yet available as inactive test viruses. The determined killing and air purification results are completely transferable to all viruses and bacteria in the air. UV and plasma destroys the cell envelope, RNA and DNA of each virus and bacterium equally.
